Each year a substantial programme of training and development is developed by WIT to support the teaching and learning of reading. This programme includes one-off training events, networks and supported ‘task and finish’ groups.
The priorities for each year’s CPD programme are set by a WIT CPD Committee who use their strategic over-sight to review recent WIT evaluations, schools grant applications and the views and needs identified by Reading Champions.
Who is it for?
This year’s programme has been developed with the needs of teachers, teaching assistants, leaders, governors and volunteers in mind.
